Twitter icon is too low!

Twitter icon is too low!

I have just used the social media insert share buttons for the first time and I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, the twitter icon is too low by about 3 or 4 pixels and it really stands out! I have tried adjusting the css to raise it using margin-top:-3px, but nothing happened, so how can I change it?

Also, I have added these buttons to my template and have an error in the code created by the wizard...

<div class="wasocial">
<div class="icons"> <a name="fb_share" type="icon" href="#" onclick="window.open('http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=<?php echo urlencode(((!empty($_SERVER["HTTPS"])) ? "https://" : "http://") . $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]); ?>', 'Facebook', 'toolbar=0,status=0,width=626,height=436'); return false;" title="Facebook"> <img src="../webassist/social/icons/facebook.png" /> </a> </div>
<div class="icons">
<div id="custom-tweet-button"> <a href="https://twitter.com/share?url=<?php echo urlencode(((!empty($_SERVER["HTTPS"])) ? "https://" : "http://") . $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]); ?>" target="_blank"><img src="../webassist/social/icons/twitter.png" alt="Twitter" border="0" title="Twitter" /></a> </div>
</div>
<div class="icons">
<!-- Place this tag where you want the +1 button to render -->
<g:plusone size="medium" count="false" href="<?php echo (((!empty($_SERVER["HTTPS"])) ? "https://" : "http://") . $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]); ?>"></g:plusone>
<!-- Place this tag after the last plusone tag -->
<script type="text/javascript">
(function() {
var po = document.createElement('script'); po.type = 'text/javascript'; po.async = true;
po.src = 'https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js';
var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(po, s);
})();
</script>

</div> <<<<------ This line here

blah blah more social code...
</div>

The odd thing is that it doesn't show as an error in the page that use the template! What's wrong? I can't see anything.

Actually managed to move the twitter icon up by 4px by adding the margin-top as inline css!

Ok, glad to hear it is working.

I've still got this syntax code error though!

Initially, I thought it was propagating to pages that use the template, but now it is!

Any thoughts?

What syntax error?

Just mentioning that there is an error is not enough, what does the error message say?

send a copy of the page that has the error also.

Well, that's my problem, I don't know what the error is because the page works in a browser, but DW is only telling me that there is a syntax error on line 220 and that code hinting may not work until I fix it. It's highlighted in red the line number 220 which is just </div>

If it was a </div> error, I would expect the page design to collapse and highlight in yellow within the design view the errors, but the page looks fine.

I've looked and can't see any code problems before that highlighted line, so am stuck!

Template page is attached.

Ok, you hadn't stated before that the error was showing in Dreamweaver, so I Was assuming it was a browser error, these details are important to include.

When i open your template SDW is not showing the error to me, those Syntax errors in DW can sometimes be red herrings that don't disappear when the syntax is corrected.

try closing the page and opening it again to force DW to read the latest syntax.
