Cannot connect to database

I have tonight, all of a sudden, been getting problems connecting to my Database.

I am using Dreamweaver CC and have updated to allow Server Behaviors and Databases.

It appears to be an issue with the mmhttpdb.php file. Originally I was getting a 404 error and a message about testing server or the file being in the wrong place. Both my testing server was fine and the file was where it was supposed to be,

So I have now got the file from a website that I can access and have uploaded in the original files place but now I am getting an undefined error message.

Does anyone know how to sort this out please? I have wasted about three hours of development time already.

Thanks in advance

Re:

Hi Daryl,

Yo should copy the files from: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC\LocalLanguage\Configuration\Connections\Scripts\PHP_MySQL\_mmDBScripts, to the _mmServerScripts directory of your site.

And later, set the files in your site as "read only" because dreamweaver cc try to delete the files. I donĀ“t know why. Many hours to find this solution, but it works for me.

Them, dreamweaver and server behaviours will work, but not data assist wizard :(, i use dreamweaver CS6 only to use data assist wizard. Only the wizard fails.

Regards!

Thanks

I had tried this using the file manager in cPanel but it didnt work but have now uploaded using Filezilla and its now working.

The only problem I'm having now is that Data Assist recognises the database and table, but not the key column.

For all the things that have been 'improved' with Dreamweaver CC, they really have killed the Dynamic Website!

OK - it's not working again.

The files seem to have been deleted off the server again. I CHMoD them to 444 but that didn't stop it.

Anyone for any other ideas?

here is an updated copy of 2 files that should go in the users configuration to correct the problem.

for help finding the configuration folder, see the following tutorial:
http://www.webassist.com/community/tutorials/view_tutorial.php?tid=95

from there, the attached files should be copied to:
/shared/webassist/libary/WA_Databases.js
shared/webassist/PowerCMS/PowerCMS_Shared.js

Attached Files
Archive.zip

These files are updated in the download now. Just make sure you have installed the latest version of Design Extender and you shouldn't need to replace any files anymore.

Need A Bit More Info

Jason, This looks like exactly what I need - but it's difficult to tell because while you tell us which directories we should put the files in, I'm not sure whether you meant to put them on my computer (so Dreamweaver will automatically put them on the server when I attempt a DB connection) or if I should try to find those directories on the server.

I'll try both, but it would be nice to know where to look first. Thanks.
