Logout

Hi,
Will your Tutorial "How To Create User-dependent Menu Options" work with SSI (server side include)? I want to create a Logout with WebAssist as I used the Double Opt in from WebAssist to register and login my users.

Regards
Deeanna

I have no 'Logout'

Hi Jason,:)
I have just realised that I have not provided a 'Logout' for my Users. The article above shows How to provide a 'Logout' that hides itself until needed, but he uses it on a WebAssist created page. My nav is DW based and it is a SSI (a plug in). Where the nav List is on another PHP page that I plug in and copy the css across to my 'Starter page'.

He says...
"I am using a menu created with WebAssist's CSS Menu Writer. The menu code is found in the cssmw folder inside of the CSSMenuWriter folder and is called menu.php.
I want to hide the entire Login/Registration menu including the Login and Registration sub-menus.

a. Select the full '<li></li>' for the parent Login/Register as seen in the image below."

Where my 'menu' code looks like....
<div id="navBar">
<?php require_once('ssi/ch-ssi-nav-fmEd--starterPage.php'); ?>
</div>

My 'menu list' is just a list, no php on it at all.

I Hope this helps
Dee

Yes, the same concept can be used, in your case, you would need to add the security show region behavior to the menu items defined in the ch-ssi-nav-fmEd--starterPage.php file

add the security show region behavior to the menu items defined in the ch-ssi-nav-fmEd--starterPage.php file

Hi Jason, I'm back from so many distractions my family had created.:) But smiling to return to my work.
To go over the above;
1. On my Starter Page I need to go to WebAssist's Security assist and ask the "Show region behaviour " to show my 'Logout' button?

Do I understand correctly?

Thank you Dee

Yes, Select the logout button, then go to Webassist -> Security Assist -> Show region to add the show region behavior.
