Thumbnail of file uploaded image on current page before submitting form

You know how you have a visual representation of the file you're about to upload in powerstore, would it be possible to do the same thing with data assist so the users can feel comfortable that they are uploading the correct file. You basically get to see the thumbnail before the form is submitted!

Thanks.

Power Store uses a file manager instance.

WebAssist -> Forms -> Insert File Manager.

with the file manager, the file is uploaded to the server before the form submits.

For some reason I remember the powerstore product section loading a preview of the image you have just chosen giving the user visual feedback prior to submitting the current page.

I know the file manager exists for the content sections of the site, so the user does get to see the image in that instance, but I have seen this preview feature across a few sites.

I just found this as an example which I think is really nice... however, to protect their server it displays the 'Fonze' rather than your selected image!

No, the Add new product page in power store does not do this.

If you visit the Update Product page, though, it will show a small preview of the image next to the file field. It does not change the thumbnail if you make a different selection though.
