The new mailing interface isn't showing up.

I just installed PM for one of my client on their host server and when we try to create a new mailing the interface isn't work properly. In the field where we should see the template and interface we see the "<html><body></body></html>". When we select a template nothing is enter into the content area.

Please help

Other issues

Two more issues have come up:

1, The file manager isn't displaying correctly when trying to upload or select an image

2, The send preview function shows an error when selected.

Please assist me in correcting these issues.

I correct ed the issue with the file manager by commenting the webassist/kfm/themes/.htaccess file.

the issue wit hthe preview though is not something that i cvan fix.

the error being returned is:
SMTP server response: 550 Authentication is required for relay

this means that the sites SMTP Server requires authentication in order to connect. Power messenger uses the php mail() function which does not have support for connecting to SMTP server s that require authentication.

Most hosts offer a relay SMTP server that does not require authentication that can be used by web scripts, you will need to contact the host to determine if they offer a relay server that can be used.

HI Jason,

Okay, my PM seems to be working so set up 3 email addresses to test the mailings. When I send them they seem to be working. According to PM the emails have been sent but they are not being received on the other end.

Can you help me?

if the mailing is going to some addresses but not to others, then this is an issue on the server. The SMTP server is not relaying the email to those addresses for some reason.

you would need to contact the host to look into the SMTP Server error log to determine why the smtp server is not sending the emails to those other addresses.
