Problem inserting a menu into a template.

I'm trying to insert a menu into a Dreamweaver template, but it's not working. I've attached an image of how it has replaced all the content on my page. I'm using DW CC, along with the CC version of Design Extender.

make sure you are using design view to add the menu. it looks like you have your cursor in code view when adding the menu.

place your cursor in design view where the menu should go, then start the menu writer wizard.
