New CC Extensions - DataBridge just hangs at mid point.

Managed to install the new CC eCart Extension ZXP but it really took forever. Same with Free Tools, however when I disabled my Anti Virus (Windows Defender it installed - althought still took ages). However when it has come to DataBridge been 2 hours now trying to install it. Hangs at mid point.

Windows 8 64 Bit OS. Ironically Extend Studio Extensions installed without any issues at all. Only the WA ones seem to be an issue. It is not a case of not responding. There is CPU activity and memory useage althought minimal disc useage during the install. But obviously it is too long for some reason.

Any ideas or suggestions?
Attach Screenshot of Hanging (Its been at this point now for 1 and half hours and Task Manager referencing Adobe Extensions Manager.

Thanks in advance for your help

Problems with windows 8 64 bits

I have the same problem as you. I had this problem with windows 8 64 bits and dreamweaver cs6 too.
I solved this running dreamweaver cs6 and extension mamager cs6 as administrador, and its runs.

This time i canĀ“t run extension manager as administrador because the cc version crashs :(. I think that webassist extension have problems with windows 8, because i have a labtop and i have the same problems too, and i tried even formating the computer.

maybe if you try running it as administrator works for you

YellowCircleWeb

I have managed to install all WA extensions in Dreamweaver CC today through the Extension Manager. However, they all took ages. I'm running Windows 8 64 bit. It took several hours to install all of them and at times it looked like nothing was going on, but I just left it and eventually each one installed. My advice is to give a LONG time to finish installing each extension. Hopefully WA will have fixes for these issues soon - don't fancy waiting 2 hours per extension uninstall/reinstall for future updates.

Thanks for the advice Guys....
I am sticking with it.
Just seen databridge jump from half way to virtually 95% installed.
I am just leaving it to get on with it..... as YellowCircleWeb suggests.... it seems to be working.
But taking an extraordinary amount of time.

UPDATE: DataBridge Installed but took a good 2 hours.....
So the moral of the tale for now is chill out and let it do its thing.

This was found during testing...its basically how Adobe have rearrange its extension manager installation process and with the way that each webassist extension installs its shared files.
