Tutorial to install server behaviors panel.

If you haven't heard, Adobe removed the server behaviors panel from Dreamweaver CC. We have a tutorial to help you get them back! http://www.webassist.com/community/tutorials/view_tutorial.php?tid=233

Universal Email 3 gas been discontinued for a while now and is not compatible with DreamweaverCC.

the extensions that we offer that are compatible with DW CC are:
eCart 5
Free Tools
Design Extender
Data Bridge.

Data Bridge is a consolidation of our Dynamic extensions and includes the functionality of Universal Email.

I tried to install com.webassist.waecart507.zxp. First I got a message that the database can't be updated. With the second try the extension manager crashed and now I just get the watch and can't manage the extension anymore ...

I renamed the configuration folder and also reinstalled the extension manager but this doesn't help. Now I can't install any more extensions...

Working on a Mac with newest software installed.

If the installation works, what is the correct order to install the extensions? I can't find any information on this on the website.

the error "Failed to update database, the extension will not be installed" is a bug with the extension manager:
http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=31583

even though the error happens, the extension is still installed.

the order to install the extensions in is:

eCart
Free Tools
Design Extender
Data Bridge

Downloaded new version CC 2014 today - WebAssist menu item has disappeared. Tried reinstalling and then nothing happens after restarting DW. Any suggestion? Thanks

before installing the WebAssist extensions, you need update the extension manager, then install the Database & Server Behaviors add-on:
https://creative.adobe.com/addons/products/1315

Once that is installed, open DW then Close it, and then install the WebAssist extensions using the extension manager. The updated extension manager will show access points to manage DW CC and another to manage DW CC 2014, make sure you select to install the WebAssist extensions into DW CC 2014.

After installing the extensions to DW CC 2014, Open DW and a PHP page top trigger the WebAssist installer.

Thank you - only realized later on the Extention Manager did nnot update by itself. I uninstalled the old version for it to pick up the new one. All seems well now. :)
