Setting up a new DW site, using Framework Builder, then adding Power CMS and it's not creating the admin files for me...

I've just set up a new site, created a DW template, applied the Framework Builder, and then, within the body area of a document I created, I am choosing Webassist >> CMS >> Add Content to PowerCMS. It's adding the content, but it's not creating any of my admin files for me, so there is no admin_cms directory being created...??? Did I overlook a step? Thanks!

make sure the files pannel is set to show local files and click the refresh button, if the CMS files are still not being created, you can copy them manually.

locate the users configuration folder:
http://www.webassist.com/community/tutorials/view_tutorial.php?tid=95

in the configuration folder, go to shared/webassist/PowerCMS/CMS

copy all of the files in the CMS folder, and paste them to the root of your site.

That worked. However, there are no admin users in the database, and it's not asking me to install anything - it just takes me to the login screen.

I went to another site that I had created with Power CMS and copied the database table to my site. Now it seems to be working. Weird...

Almost working ... the HTML editor is missing in the admin area. Now, which files do you think are missing? I copied all of the files from the link you sent to me in a previous post, so I'm not sure what's missing at this point. I've never had installation issues like this before...??? Thanks.

Now, I'm having more issues... My CMSedit.png file is not showing up on the public part of the site when I am logged into the CMS. Just the word Edit shows up. I copied all of the files over from this directory: en_US\Configuration\Shared\WebAssist\PowerCMS\CMS. Can you tell me what to do to get the icon back? This has been just bizarre...

Jason, I just had to copy all of the files from another site and now it's working. Really weird!

IT sounds like you had the

installed_cms.txt
PowerCMSConnection.php

files in your connections folder which was causing the files to not be copied into the site.
