DW CC doesn’t work
I cannot install Databridge 1.1.3 in DW CC. First I converted using AEM CS 6 into zxp. Works fine with DesignExtender but DataBridge raises an error saying "Database" could not be updated.

We will be updating the Extensions for compatibility with DW CC soon. it has just been released, so we can now begin testing and releasing updates to address issues.
Haven't done anything with this yet, but just found out about an extension for restoring deprecated features for server behaviors/bindings located here:
* Vista/Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC\Configuration\DisabledFeatures
Thread I am following on Adobe seems to indicate that some people have already tried to install the extension and found that it was incomplete. Don't know whether this is a universal issue or just an issue with some people's attempts to install.
These are the days when I hate Adobe. I feel terrible for the team at WebAssist who make great products only to have Adobe change things on the fly and not clearly communicate to its users. I feel blindsided by the fact on one hand, Adobe touts the few new things they put on Dreamweaver CC - but FAIL to tell you they removed a whole bunch of things.
What I don't get is why they would remove things like data access and behaviors. Sure, there will be work arounds but now without a company like WebAssist creating an extension to do some of the real heavy lifting, what makes Dreamweaver anything more than just a bloated version of Muse?
This kind of crap from Adobe makes me want to go back and just use frameworks like rails and yii... and then I don't need Dreamweaver at all. I really wish WebAssist could find away to make extensions work with say, Coda or Espresso... now that would be boss and I would pay DOUBLE to WebAssist for them.
I agree with SOJOweb, I do love Adobe products to the extent that they have become the norm these days in development. but it is frustrating that they take away the most important features to which are most important in this age of database driven websites. I wouldnt mind checking out php ide shoftware such as nusphere software...however I dont want to walk away from webassist extensions as they provide so much flexability and power...if only an ide such as nusphere php ide would cater for webassist extensions :)
