Need some suggestions...

Need some suggestions...

I have a few items that I could use some suggestions...

1. My customer wants to be able to zoom in on an image on his website. Do any of the WA extensions have that ability?
2. Is there a way to auto-update keywords on a page?
3. The customer would also like to have an auto-convert from inches to metric.

If not, anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks

1) No, WebAssist does not have an extension to enable zooming an image

2) I dont follow what you mean

3) This would require hand coding, we do not support this.

Thanks, Jason...

In regards to #2, as the customer populates his site with products, he might want to add more keywords to the meta-tags. Is it possible to create a field in the database for keywords and have it placed in the meta-tag so it will update automatically if the admin enters more keywords in the database?

Thanks!

Yes this is possible

You can use power CMS Builder to manage page content , it also allows you to create Content Areas for the page Title, meta-description and meta keywords and manage those.

Through an email conversation, Ray gave me the same info and I am using it successfully. Thanks...

One thing I am confused about is in the MYSQL database. I created the products_detail.php page using the Data Assist Pages. I have thumbnail and full-size image fields. I have the latest versions of Data Bridge and Design Extender. Using the admin pages I created, is there a way to upload 1 image that would populate both fields accordingly? Or am I thinking of the PowerStore program?

If not, which is the WA program I use to insert into the admin page to allow the customer to upload the image?

Thanks again!

in Data Bridge there is the File Manipulation -> File Upload behavior, you can use this to upload files and create a large and Thumbnail copy of the image to populate the database.

For zooming in on an image you could use jqZoom. Its available to grab in two ways. You can either navigate to it through Dreamweaver's widget browser and install it (assuming you have DW CS5 and up) or get it from this link:

I've played around with it and it works as expected. Easy to implement too.

Hey Mikey...

How easy was it? I ran through their setup page on their site and I can't figure out where to put the code they are looking for. Do you have a live page I could compare to?

Thanks!
