user login redirect

If a user attempts to access a access a restricted page without being logged in, they will be redirected to the login page.
This works fine.

however, on logging in, i would like the user to be returned to the page they were trying to access.

how can this be achieved please?

on the login page, edit the Authenticate User Server behavior, and enable the Go To Previous Page if it exists option.

I have that checked and i also have 'login.php?loggedIn=1' in the If login succeeds field. Does that conflict?
Or will the Go to previous URL option take priority?

the go to previous should take priority

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

right look at the URL in the browser, it has the access check variable twice:
?accesscheck=%2Fclients%2Faccount%2Findex.php%3Faccesscheck%3D%252Fclients%252Frooms%252Findex.php%253F

this means that the /clients/rooms/index.php page is set to redirect to the /clients/account/index.php page if access fails, and the /clients/account/index.php page redircts to the login.php page.

since it directs to the /clients/account/index.php first, that is successful lgin page.

on the /clients/rooms/index.php page, set the failed redirect to the login page instead.
