Mac 10 7

Mac 10.7.5 unable to activate eCart see attachment for message, basically the dialogue is unable to access internet but Dreamweaver does. I have deleted MacFileCache-535A7D04.dat, checked that there was not virus protection or firewall. Then I reinstalled operative system from apple store. Still no activation, same error message.

I had been activated then all of a sudden I had to re-activate. Webassist activation has always ben a bit of a hassle on the MAC, without warring reactivation is sometimes required. This is the first time I was unable to.

There was a temporary glitch with the activation server last night, it is back up and running now though, try to activate again, it should go through.

If you still have a problem, go to the System Preferences -> Network panel. Select the active connect and click the Advanced button. On the Ethernet tab, note the Ethernet ID

Send the Ethernet ID and the eCart serial number in a private message, i can use those to generate a license for you.

My IP uses DHCP see attachments. Last time this happened you made adjustments to your server which fixed a similar problem.

Yeah the DHCP settings are something different. The screen shots you have included don't have the value that I need.

You need the MAC address, also called ethernet ID on macs. Your screen shots only have the IP address. Please follow the instructions to get the ethernet ID and post it back in the private area of a reply to this thread.

I followed your directions, I sent you the results. This activation system is really very very difficult. Am I really teh only one having this problem?

What products are you trying to activate?

Please try again and see if it is working for you... If not, please include any serial numbers and the associated product names so that we can generate the proper license files.

Is this for eCart? Are you having an issue with Design Extender as well?

Please only post serial numbers to the private area...

It looks like the first serial is associated with the old subscription program...that could be why it isn't working.

The second serial number should work. Please try it again and let me know if it works for you now. If not please post back with a detailed post of what products you are having difficulty with and the serial number associated with each product and I can generate the license files. I have the MAC address now, so no need to re-post that.
