What is the best way to merge my DA pages with Power CMS

Hi Guys, I am looking for some direction on how i can merge my DA derived Admin Back end for my site with PowerCMS.

If this is at all possible; is there anything i should be looking out for when creating DA pages and applying the PowerCMS admin template?

Likewise are there going to be any issues adding to the menu?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

kind regards
Jonathon

There should not be any issues applying the admin CMS template to your pages.

As always, make a backup before you try it, so if there issues you can easily revert.

to add to the menu, you will need manually edit the menu file.

Hi Jason,

In regards to merging PowerCMS with DA.

As a test I have installed PowerCMS to a single index.php page and then added a test page to the admin_cms folder and applied the admin template.

I then used SA Access Page Manager to add security to this page (Chose Super Administrator)

I then added a link to menu.php for this new page.

When I log into Admin; the page shows on the menu tab but when I click on the tab it does open the new page.

I have also change the SA to just Administrator with the same results.

Am I missing something here?
Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Jonathon

the variables used by the CMS Users are defined in the following files:

<?php require_once( "../WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php" ); ?>
<?php require_once('../Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php'); ?>

you had the require once lines for these files at line 19, i moved those lines to line 1 so the needed variables where defined before the Security assist access rule.
