Why is it that you can't install Web Assist and Databridge at the same time on one dreamweaver application

I had webassist before i bought Databridge and the issue i'm having is that i can't use databridge to add Coldfusion pages and the old version webassist did do that very well.....

The problem is that if the one extension was not going to support CF files why didn't they make it so that they could both run on the same Dreamweaver correctly..

They do install but depending on the order that they are installed one will work better than the other...

The older stand alone extensions cannot be installed at the same time as data bridge.

Data Bridge is a replacement to those extensions, that is why they cannot be installed together, they cause conflicts.

there are a couple workarounds:

1) Have a previous version of dreamweaver installed, for example, install both DW CS4 and DW CS 3.

install the previous version in DW CS3 and the Data Bridge in DW CS4

2) Create another user in the operating system

under one user, install the previous versions, under the regular user install Data Bridge
