html editor image upload

I Can't get html editor to work uploading/inserting images unless I'm logged into power cms admin page, how would my users be able to upload images when they don't have a user account set up in the power cms admin section. I just want to allow images to be uploaded to the directory.

It works if I'm logged into power cms, but when I close power cms and click the image button in html editor it goes to a 404 error page instead of the image directory.

You don't want to give general users the ability to use the HTML editor file manager, this would pose a security risk allowing hackers to harm your site.

to allow for file upload, you should use the File manipulation -> Upload file server behavior from data bridge.

I'm trying to set up a news section that the president of the company can add news and images to the homepage of our website, kind of like the Facebook news feed but not on Facebook and not from Facebook. Just a simple comments and images but with a little control of the images.

then set that person as an administrator in power CMS and give them the user name and password to login.
