Cookie name not appearing in the Cookie Name drop down despite having just been created?

Cookie name not appearing in the Cookie Name drop down despite having just been created?

We select our FORM tag and choose Behaviours > WA Cookies Toolkit > Store Entire Form in Cookie. We name our cookie accordingly and click the OK button. In our behaviours list we see onSubmit > Stores Entire Form In Cookie listed and we can even edit it without a problem.

However, when we then select our BODY tag and choose Behaviours > WA Cookies Toolkit > Set Form Element From Cookie our recently created cookie isn't available in the "Cookie name:" drop down menu. If we manually type the cookie name it doesn't save.

Is this a known issue? We're using DW8, Classic ASP (VB). Hope you can help. Thank you.

N.

Go to the bindings panel and click the plus button, select Cookies Variable and type the name of the cookie binding.

if that does not work, use the OS's file browse to browse to your site and delete the _notes folder.

Hi Jason. Thanks for your support.

There is a cookie already listed in the WA Cookie Variable list called "Form Cookie(FORMAboutYou)". I've tried deleting that, and then recreating it, but that doesn't resolve the matter. Nor does, as you suggested, typing in the name of the cookie binding. The Cookie name drop down remains empty.

So...I've deleted the sites _notes folder. No change there either.

Any other thoughts? Thanks again for you help.

AH! Maybe deleting the _notes folder has resolved the issue with it not taking the typed value in the WA Cooke Variable list. It appears to be appearing in the Cookie name drop-down menu now.

Thanks Jason.

It's not setting the form fields that I've selected to be filled from Cookie?
Hope you can help. There's clearly something odd going on here.

Thanks Jason.

PS. I have this at the bottom of my page. Could this be the culprit?

<%
Response.Expires = 0
Response.Expiresabsolute = Now() - 1
Response.AddHeader "pragma","no-cache"
Response.AddHeader "cache-control","private"
Response.CacheControl = "no-cache"
%>

Sorry, deleting that code didn't affect anything. Has got me stumped now.

Page is at: http://www.divining-for-health.com/case-history-about-you.asp
Page is also attached as it is now.

I manually re-added all of my form cookies, there are six in total, and they appear under WA Cookies in the Bindings panel. They do not, however, appear in the Cookie name drop down menu when attempting to add the "Set Form Element From Cookie" behaviour.
Appreciate the help.
