How to build an online shop

I want to build a dynamic online shop for twenty products under 4 categories. Hopefully I will add products and categories in the future. Is there a tutorial thaty will show me how to do this. I know I will need Design Extender, Data Bridge and E-Cart, but can you help me with the steps I need to take.

Thats a very broad question.

see the "Integrating Data Bridge and eCart" tutorial for a getting started reference

Is there is a specific part of the process you need help with, ask away here in the forums.

Jason, I've prepared a draft site for testing using your video 'Build an Admin-Driven PayPal Store'. I've uploaded to my host account. When I do a search on products_search.php, I get the following message on the products_results.php page - 'No database selected'.

What have I done wrong?

That is most likely a problem with the details for connecting to the MySQL database server in the connection file.

make sure that you have the correct details entered for making a connection.

Jason, It's okay, I sorted it. But now when I hit the paypal button 'add to cart', nothing happens. I followed the rules in the video 'Build an Admin-Driven PayPal Store'.

Can you help?

try removing this line from the results page:

<script src="webassist/progress_bar/jquery-blockui-formprocessing.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Jason,

Thanks - that worked. I had to also remove it from the script from the details page. Is this a little bug? Is there some other script for a progress bar I can use.

It is a bug that i have logged in our system to be corrected in the next update. I don't have a progress bar that can be used in the mean time though.

Heres a work around to try:
Put the progress bar script back in, and delete the search form that is on the results page.
