Headers already sent error

I am getting a Headers already sent error on the attached page, after much investigation, i have narrowed it down to the following:

If i have a page set for the goto page variable the error occurs, if i have no goto page set, the error disappears. Any ideas why this is occurring?

see this thread for details on troubleshooting the headers already sent error:
http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=19285

in your case, it is the BOM Signature bug causing the problem:

  2) The Unicode Signature (BOM) PHP bug. the forth screen shot shows the Title / Encoding category of the Page Properties screen (Modify - > Page Properties). Checking the Include Signature (BOM) option can cause the headers already sent error

Why is it showing as unchecked in DW 5.5?

Ahhh, i was looking under preferences where it was unchecked, just looked at modify>page properties and it was! Thanks Jason, problem solved.

Yeah, preferences shows the site preferences. the modify-> page properties shows the settings for the page.
