error message on login

I am running powermessenger on my localhost testing server apache 2.2 PHP 5.3.1 and MySQL 5.1.43 it was setup ok until I try to logon as user I get this error and can’t go any farther.

Please help

This is a configuration issue.

in the php.ini file, there is a setting for:
date.timezone

the error is saying this setting is left blank. In reality, this isn't an error, it's a warning. It's only showing because the error reporting level is set to show errors and warnings.

you will need to edit the php.ini file for the server to set the date.timezone setting.
