Can't create new cart object (eCart). The "Add" button isn't clickeable. I've unistalled and reinstalled the extension without any success. Please help!!

If I open another site in DW, the existing carts aren't editable. I have deleted the .dat file, but still the new cart "Add" button isn't clickeable. Your prompt attention to this matter will be appreciated, since I have a timetable to follow.

It is blurred, not clickeable.
Please note that I've coded several stores using eCart. I'm very familiar with the product. I suspect that after accepting a Java update, this malfunction started. Please advise.

try adding an add to cart button to a page in your site to trigger activation before trying to add the cart object.

Also make sure you have the latest version of eCart installed 5.0.7

I tried that, and an Activation window appeared. After activating the product, the New Cart Object button is not clickeable.
PD: I do have the latest version.

What version of eCart?

What version and build of Dreamweaver?

What OS?

In your screen shot, the Cart Icon under the add button does not look blurred, it may not look clickable, but in eCart 5.0.7 it should trigger the add button as long as a php page for your site is open.

eCart: Version 5.0.7
Dreamweaver: Version 12 Build 5808
Windows XP

The thing is that last week I used it to build a shopping cart and it worked perfectly.

5808 is an old build of Dreamweaver, try installing the latest update to dreamweaver cs6.

I updated DW but this didn't solve the problem. Decided to delete and reinstall the extension and now it's working perfectly. Probably that was the first step I should have started. Thanks for your prompt attention and your assistance to solve this matter.
