PowerCMS Builder won't progress into diagnostics for install

PowerCMS Builder once on the server won't progress through diagnostics. I can write to the database via Dreamweaver. After putting supporting files on the server and going to the /cms/ directory, it won't go through the diagnostic. This is the PowerCMS Builder extension, not part of the design extender suite. The site is hosted on ipage and don't see anything preventing the process when I click get started seems just refresh the page.

The are no errors on the page, it just won't progress through the install.

Help would be great!

Thanks

Most likely the server is having an issue with saving sessions.

use the session test page from the following thread:
http://www.webassist.com/forums/showpost.php?p=23826&postcount=2

to make sure the server can save sessions. if the test fails, the host will need to correct the problem. it is most likely the session.save_path setting in the php.ini file.
