How to Add Cart Status to Every Page

A lot of online stores display how many items are in your shopping cart on each page. How would I add this functionality?

Using the Display Manager and selecting the quick cart display type, you could show the cart subtotal, and total quantity on each page with a checkout button.

I was thinking more of every page on the website, not just those that have a checkout button.

you misread my reply

you can add the quick cart display manage type to each page in your site.

this will show the cart total, the total quantity and a checkout button.
