I have 3 separate shopping cart questions and am looking for a solution for a client. Products will be a mix of downloadable and shippable products.

1. Is there any way to bypass a checkout/registration if the product's SKU is set to $0.00, as in a free download? Is a free download even possible with PowerStore?
2. Can certain types of customers get a fixed dollar amount off of each product sold?
3. Can the client actually "sell" a downloadable product if it's not even available yet, and he could alert them when it becomes available?

Hope my questions make sense. Thank you!

1) No power store does not support checkout with free items.

2) No power store cant apply different prices to different user groups.

3) No power store does not support selling a product that isn't available yet and sending a notice when it is.

Thanks. I ind of think he's looking for the impossible. :) Definitely it's non-standard.

Yeah, these features aren't a part of Power Store, with a bit of hand coding, they could be implemented using a store created by eCart though.
