Possible work around during crisis

Until the issue is resolved, you may be able to get back up and working with DW the way I did, if you have a backup. I closed DW. Restored the configuration directory/shared/webassist files from backup and used my firewall to block DW from accessing the Internet for now.

I actually only restored selected files/folders from configuration directory/shared/webassist, but if you aren't sure which ones to restore, all is safer as long as your backup is fresh enough.

I'll give it a go, something I shouldn't be wasting my time on - a little bit of prior testing might have been in order!!!

Here's a thought. Perhaps WebAssist could restore their own system so that I could get back to work!

Works for me

Wasted an hour of my time, but the workaround works and I'm back to work!

Cheers

We apologize for the crisis today. Fortunately it should all be back up and running. You can activate normally again. This is the first time we had an issue like this in over 10 years, but hopefully it will be even longer before it happens again.
