Is there a way to secure folders of PDF files?

You would need to do that through the server configuration.

on an apache server, it c an be done using an htacess file:

password-protect-directory.shtml

if you mean to deny access to the folder to view the files within it then all you need to do is add a .htaccess file to the folder that you're protecting

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to do this on a Windows server, I am using Windows 2008 server.
