Database area on live server does not work

I'm having a slight challenge (never have problems), my site works well on local server (my local machine) but on the live server the database areas do not show up or work as expected, even though the connection details are the same on both servers.Is there anything that I have to do since this is my first time to use data bridge on a live server?

on one of your data assist pages, try enabling error reporting by adding thje following code at line 1:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

this may help give a clue on the problem.
