There are numerous issues with the way this page is created.

there is the script to create the left nav flash object, then the page body and html tags are closed, then follows the script for the global nav flash object. another issue is that the global nav and side nav objects are both using the same name, they should have unique names.

<div class="left_nav">

<script type="text/javascript">
// <![CDATA[

var so = new SWFObject("/flash/sidenav_new.swf", "globenav", "196", "550", "8", "#FFFFFF");
so.addParam("wmode", "transparent");
so.write("nav1");

// ]]>
</script>
</div>

My flash component is not loading still

<script type="text/javascript">
// <![CDATA[

var so = new SWFObject("<?php echo $path_flash;?>/globenav.swf", "globenav", "282", "285", "8", "#FFFFFF");
so.addParam("wmode", "transparent");
so.write("globe_nav1");

// ]]>
</script>

Q: is something wrong with the statements above?

Note:

globenav.swf is in a folder named "flash" so are the rest of the flash components

Thanks

if you look in the browsers error console, there are errors for the flash objects:
ReferenceError: Can't find variable: SWFObject

the SWFObject should be defined in the js/swfobject.js file:

swfobject.js

that file is empty though
