Pre-Sales Question regarding passing values

Hello, I have a pre-sales question for Power store.

I am working on a website for a client that will be selling automotive reports. I have set up a database with the standard “State”, “Year”, “Make” & “Model” tables. I have to query the database in order to know how many reports are returned based on the user’s selection.

Initially we were talking offering only 4 different products

PRODUCT #1 (between 1 – 5 reports)
PRODUCT #2 (between 6 – 10 reports)
PRODUCT #3 (between 11 – 15 reports)
PRODUCT #4 (between 16 – 20 reports)

For example, the user may select “Virginia” “2010” “Buick” “LeSabre” and we will access the database to know that there are let’s say 12 reports available for that selection and we could offer the user options to buy various package (PRODUCT #1 or PRODUCT#2 or PRODUCT#3) on the other hand if we get a user who selects “Alaska” “2012” “Lamborghini” “Gallardo” and we access the database and get back 1 result, we will offer only (PRODUCT #1)

When the user select “BUY PRODUCT #1 NOW” I want to take the values of the variables with me.
“State”, “Year”, “Make” & “Model”

Is there a way that I will be able to pass those variable in to the Power Store cart either using $_GET or $_POST (hidden field) and carry them all the way into the checkout at PayPal Payments Pro.

Or can I setup options for the Products in Power Store, and just have their values automatically populated with these variables.

I know that this is not a standard feature of Power Store, so my question is – Can it be done? And would you be able to offer paid support for customization in case I hit a major snag?

Thank you for your thoughts!

This coupd be done, but will require major customization to achieve that is not supported.

we could help implement this through a premiere support appointment if you like.
