Users cannot add Blog Post entries

Users cannot add Blog Post entries

I want users that I add to the CMS to be able to add and maintain blog post entries, but I am the only one that seems to be able to add them. Why is this and how do I give users the ability to add new blog posts? Thank you.

Only the Super Admin user can add new content.

if you wish to change that, edit the admin_cms/pages.php page, and change:

php:
Content

    <?php if(WA_Auth_RulePasses("Super Administrator")){ // Begin Show Region ?>
     <img  src="../images/btn-add-small.png" align="right" title="Add Content" class="add-content-page" />
      <?php // End Show Region ?>

to:

php:
Content

    <?php if(WA_Auth_RulePasses("Administrator")){ // Begin Show Region ?>
     <img  src="../images/btn-add-small.png" align="right" title="Add Content" class="add-content-page" />
      <?php // End Show Region ?>

Jason, we went through this before, and I know that you had to tweak something in one of the pages on my server, but now it's not working again. I created a new page as super admin and checked the "use as template" check box. When someone logs in as an admin user, they are supposed to be able to create new pages based on this page, but it's not working. I can't remember how you fixed this last time. Do you?

i seem to recall adding the following code:

php:
<?php

if(isset($_SESSION['UserGroupID']) && $_SESSION['UserGroupID'] == 1) {

$_SESSION['AdminLogin'] = $GLOBALS['WAGLOBAL_Admin_Password'];
}
?>

to the admin_cms/index.php page at line 9

Perfect. Will I need to remember to do this with each site, in order to give everybody the ability to create pages when the "use as template" check box is checked? Thank you!
