Suggestion: prepend domain to image source (i.e. for pulling remote AJAX data)
Hello,
I noticed that Image Resizer works only if img src is relative:
<img src="my-path/my-img.jpg"> *working*
But (obviously) not on absolute paths:
<img src="http://www.my-domain.foo/my-path/my-img.jpg"> *not working*
That's quite reasonable since images must reside on my server to get resized and put in the "cache" folder, so the www part is redundant and avoids messing with images external to my domain
But then I faced a problem: since I'm developing a mobile web app (to be converted in a native iOS/Android app), I need data pulled on-the-fly from my server with an AJAX request, and then I also need to retrieve the *full* resized image path:
<img src="http://www.my-domain.foo/cache/folder/etc/my-resized-img.jpg">
I manually edited the source code in "CachedResize_Image.php" to prepend the domain and accomplish this task, but it would be nice to optionally specify a "base url" in the next Image Resizer release...
Thanks :-)
