Change static themes by dropdown

Once I am in a Framework Builder Static theme, why, in order to change theme, do I have to:

  1. Remove the behavior.
  2. Apply the other template.
  3. Apply the theme.

Maybe there is a reason, but if I can have dynamic themes, why can't I open the static theme behavior and choose from the available themes.

I am changing the static theme on a web site and that is how this came to mind.

Thanx,
Steven

a static theme allows you to apply only one theme.

a dynamic theme allows you to apply multiple themes and have a variable determine at run time which one to use. They are completely different.

a static theme is intended to be applied once and not changed. In order to change the theme, the previous theme must be removed first.

Well, if I might suggest, a dynamic theme means it can be changed by a variable. A static theme means that it cannot be changed by a variable. Neither means the theme will never change, or even that it might not change fairly often.

It is not a big deal, and perhaps there is a reason, but I'm not sure why it takes several steps instead of one.
