Data Bridge - Subscribe and Unsubscribe pages Tutorial

Hi Jason

I have followed the tutorial you have on 'Subscribe and Unsubscribe pages in Data Bridge' and fallen at the first hurdle.

In the first stage (Import the preset) it tells me to 'Browse to the data-bridge-newsletter-subscribe-unsubscribe.zip preset file you downloaded earlier'

This isn't available in the download, where can I find this please?

Thanks

Scott

Before the first step, in the "What you need to start" section, the link to the preset is the last item in the list:

  What you need to start:
*A dynamic site set up within Dreamweaver
*A blank database
*Dreamweaver CS3 or later
*Data Bridge installed and activated in Dreamweaver
*DataAssist Newsletter Preset, which can be downloaded here

Hi Jason

Any clues as to why the table aren't being created in my database please?

I'm trying to create the Newsletter Subscribe and Unsubscribe pages in Data Bridge, using your tutorial I have followed this step by step and am now getting the following message:

Table 'pixalart_wasubsc.newsletter' doesn't exist

when you run the Create Pages wizard and select the preset, make sure to select the option to create the tables.

Hi Jason

For some reason when following the subscribe / unsubscribe feature tutorial Data Bridge wont create the correct database setup for this specific tutorial?

This is the error message after entering the information required:

Table 'pixalart_wasubsc.newsletter' doesn't exist

I have copied the URL to the page below

I made sure the option to create the tables was ticked and then viewed the DB but still no tables, is there an SQL dump I can use?

In the site definition, is the testing server connection connecting to the local server or remote?

The table will be created on the testing server.

Here is the SQL Create table statement for the newsletter table

CREATE TABLE `newsletter` (
`emailid` int(50) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
`emailaddress` varchar(200) NOT NULL,
`emailname` varchar(200) NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`emailid`),
UNIQUE KEY `emailaddress` (`emailaddress`)
) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1

Not sure how I confirm that?

I have used the SQL code above which seems to work so thanks anyway.

Once last question...how do I remove the border thats shown..tried to locate this but couldn't see it anywhere in the CSS code?

I have pasted the link to the page in the Private Message, please ignore the blue border, it's the grey border that surounds the word Inset that I'm looking to remove.
