Form Validation Issues

Form Validation Issues

I am trying to create validation rules so that if the users fails to fill out a required form field, or skips a required field, an error in red show automatically. This is not working when I use Webassist > Forms > Validation Show if.

How is this tool used? The entire form field disappears if I try to use this feature.

to show the error immediately on the user tabing out of the field, use spry validation and set the validation to trigger on blur.

This isn't working as its showing a javascript error. This works on a regular non-webassist form, but not working here. I have tried putting cursor in the field and outside.

Also, the webassist code is showing this is already set to blur. Nothing is happening!

I got the javascript error from dreamweaver. I cannot type the entire paragraph out of the error message. the spry should work already becuase I have it enabled in the webassist form tool.

Webassist's form is simply not working. I have the field selected as required, but it doesn't show any variable, and doesn't show any error message.

SO, I manually tried to do this in dreamweaver, but it says there is already a spry field enabled. you cannot put a spry within a spry.

This tool is not working. I have spent 15 hours on 2 forms that would have taken me a 1/5 of this time.

What do I do next!!!
