Reenter form gives me <new from blank> Default

Just installed DataBridge after cleaning out all the old stuff. Using css form builder I made a custom form and didn't save it as a unique entity. In the past I could reenter the form no problem. Now when i reenter, my form is nowhere to be seen.
The only thing I did outside the form builder was to impose an id on a single element within the form for structural purposes.
Is this the way it is now or did I break it by making changes outside form builder?
A work in progress - always changing here

to reenter the form builder wizard, click a for element in design view, then select the form tag in the tag selector along the bottom, in the properties window, it should show an edit button to allow you to edit the form.
