ecart 4.5.2 and emailing products

Hi there good evening, have a question about certain feature, but not sure if its possible or not, a client is asking me to have a shopping cart built but no payment functionality, she wants this, when a person finishes adding items to the cart and click on checkout, the next page should be a page with text explaining that they received the items via email, and at the same time, the system should send an email to my client with all the products in the shopping cart, quantities, etc, is this possible to do without any payment involved?

Thanks in advance!

Arturo

If you have eCart and Universal Email or Form builder, yes, this is possible.

when running the checkout wizard, there is an option to use No Payment Gateway. If you select that option and have UE or Form Builder installed, there will be a section of the Checkout wizard to configure the receipt email settings.

Hi Jason, thanks, where exactly in the checkout wizard this should be appearing? because in the first "page" of the wizard I just have options based on a selected payment gateway. And yes, I do have Universal Email.

Thanks!

sorry, i missed the eCart 4 part of your title.

eCart 4 does not have the no gateway option.

Instead Select Paypal Payments Pro US as the payment gateway, then you can remove the code that processes the transaction through paypal.

After the pages have been created, remove the PayPal Express Checkout button from the Checkout page, and remove the local Checkout server behavior from the Confirm page.

You will also have to reset the redirect to the success page. double click the Universal Email server behavior and set the redirect to the success page.
