Having battled with mysql myself I know what you are going through.

However you need to provide more information e.g.

what version of mysql you are using?
Are you using wamp, mamp, xampp or mysql and apache seperately?
what exactly is happening when you try to install mysql gui tools?
Do you have phpmyadmin?

Solved

Hi Jenkolaka

Had it all up and running, now the problem starts with making a resting server.

Will ask a friend off mine to give me some lessons because I got a big head ache yesteray after trying for 10 hours.

Tx for the help any way.

The problem was that I couldn't use localhost for administrator nut had to use the IP address.

Glad I could be of help,

Hope your friend can help you, if not describe your problem in detail here and I might be able to help you with your testing server.
