Extensions Are not working seamlessly

Hi,

I have been working with WA Extensions for some time. I am finding the latest Extensions really glitchy and not working seamlessly as before. I have created a catalog pages with Data Bridge (Data Assist) and was expecting the seamless process as before with just Data Assist. Mine Product Results and Product Details pages are not transferring the the session properly to the cart and it doesn't mater what product I add to cart only one product, one thumb and one price gets transfer to the cart. All repeat regions are set and it is not doing it. I am frustrated. I need some help. Any suggestions?

I don't have live link but I can have one up for you by tomorrow. I don't have the db with me. Take a look at the pages.

Thank you.

for the results page:

the page created by the Data Assist wizard will contains a form tag around the repeat region.

before adding the eCart add to cart button to the results page, that form needs to be deleted.

once you delete the form around the results repeat region, you can replace the add to cart place holder with the eCart add to cart button.

see the "Integrating Data Bridge and eCart" tutorial on the Data Bridge support page for more details:
data-bridge/

If you still need assistance, i'll need to see the problem online.

Do you mean:

<form class="DetailsPage Dark_Default" id="Results_Dark_Default" .....
</form>

and this needs to be done for product_results.php and product_detail.php pages?

What happen with the easy workflow from before ... Half of the Extensions are working the old way half Extensions are not and they have to be integrated ... I can way to see what kind of surprises I am going to get going trough the check out process and pages.

Yes, that is the form.

If you select the option to include a delete button on the details page, a form will be added to the page too, and you will need to delete it.

Here is the live link: products_results.php if I Add to Cart from this page it is adding the same product, same image, same price over and over again. If I Add to Cart from the Detail page it is OK. Wired. Any suggestions? I am attaching the corrected pages as well.

I had never had such a problem with the all way the extensions worked. This is not productive and I have to question why is this done this way. Why do we have to go back and delete forms in order to integrate the Data Bridge into the shopping cart? Couldn't we eliminated this painful process from the very begging?

In the add to cart button, on the first screen, you need to select the lookup Item from recordset option.

on the results page, you cannot use the Static Add to cart button option, you need to use the lookup Item ID from recordset option.

Do I have an options for dynamic or static Add to Cart button? Is this coming by default? So what you are saying is to delete the existing button and inset a new one with dynamic properties. Is this correct?

yes, delete the add to cart button code from this page.

then add a new one. Go To Insert -> eCart -> Add To Cart Button.

in the first screen, there is an option to add a static add to cart button, or look up the item ID from a recordset.

since you are adding the button to the results page, you nee to select the Look up item ID from recordset option.
