Access Rules Manager

Access Rules Manager

I am in the process of creating Access Level Rules. I opened Access Rules Manager and created a Level 2 rule, then 3, then 4, then bam - Dreamweaver crashed. I reopened and created Level 5, then 6, then bam - crashed again. I managed to get up to level 9 created. Now, every time I launch Access Rules Manager, Dreamweaver crashes.

I don't need 10 levels yet. I was just creating them because 10 was a nice number to use for my admin pages.

The point is, Access Rules Manager crashes every time I open it. What do you suggest I do?

What version of Security Assist are you using?

What is your Dreamweaver version?

What is your OS?

What other extensions, including the version numbers are installed?

have you tried Deleting the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

uninstall Security Assist 1.1.3, then go to the download center and install the latest 1.1.9 version.

I don't have SecurityAssist installed. It was installed as part of DataBridge. I believe I have the current version of DataBridge installed.

How do I uninstall SecurityAssist?

Wow. You're absolutely right. That is my error. It should have said DataBridge 1.1.3.

My apologies.

Ok, and what other extensions are installed?

Was Data Bridge the last extensions you installed?

try uninstalling it then reinstalling it from the extension manager.

I don't recall the order in which I installed the WebAssist extensions. I believe DataBridge was last. The last time I un-installed and then re-installed it took forever. It took well over an hour just to un-install. Maybe longer. I was very surprised.

I'll do that again and check back in on Monday if it doesn't work.
