Datepicker not working

Hi, I have been looking at many possible solutions in the forum, but I can't get it work, I have checked the page with firebug and I got this error

TypeError: $(...).datepicker is not a function

onClose: closeDatePicker_datepicker_1

I have tried in a blank page and it works perfectly but not on the page where I really need it.

Thank you so much in advanced.

the date picker uses jquery. the problem sounds like you have a conflicting version of jquery on the page, or you are using moo-tools and not using compatibility mode.

Hi Jason,

Thank you, is there any way to check that, like automatically, cause I am fairly new to PHP and even the Captcha script is not working on that page.

Thanks again

no, there is not an automatic check, you would need to examine the code.

since you say it works on one page, but not the other, it indicates a conflict. look for script tags that connect to jquery libraries or moo-tools libraries.
