Dynamic link does not work

Hi there,
I created a dynamic table with one of the columns hyperlinked to show details of the record. when tested the URL seems to be right {picking up the ID of the record - official_apply.php?NT_ID=3} but the record shown is always the 1st record in the table. Please see the zip file.

Jason ByrnesWebAssist

you have not added a filter to the recordset on the official_apply.php page

edit the recordset, and in the filtering section, select the ID column and filter it by the URL Variable NT_ID

the recordset code is duplicated.

edit the code at lines 109 - 129:

php:
$colname_rsNewtaker = "-1";

if (isset($_GET['NT_ID'])) {
  $colname_rsNewtaker = $_GET['NT_ID'];
}
mysql_select_db($database_su_lokoja, $su_lokoja);
$query_rsNewtaker = sprintf("SELECT * FROM newtakers WHERE NT_ID = %s", GetSQLValueString($colname_rsNewtaker, "int"));
$rsNewtaker = mysql_query($query_rsNewtaker, $su_lokoja) or die(mysql_error());
$row_rsNewtaker = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsNewtaker);
$totalRows_rsNewtaker = mysql_num_rows($rsNewtaker);$colname_rsNewtaker = "-1";
if (isset($_GET['NT_ID'])) {
  $colname_rsNewtaker = $_GET['NT_ID'];
}
mysql_select_db($database_su_lokoja, $su_lokoja);
$query_rsNewtaker = sprintf("SELECT * FROM newtakers WHERE NT_ID = %s", GetSQLValueString($colname_rsNewtaker, "int"));
$rsNewtaker = mysql_query($query_rsNewtaker, $su_lokoja) or die(mysql_error());
$row_rsNewtaker = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsNewtaker);
$totalRows_rsNewtaker = mysql_num_rows($rsNewtaker);
$query_rsNewtaker = "SELECT * FROM newtakers";
$rsNewtaker = mysql_query($query_rsNewtaker, $su_lokoja) or die(mysql_error());
$row_rsNewtaker = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsNewtaker);
$totalRows_rsNewtaker = mysql_num_rows($rsNewtaker);

to:

php:
$colname_rsNewtaker = "-1";

if (isset($_GET['NT_ID'])) {
  $colname_rsNewtaker = $_GET['NT_ID'];
}
mysql_select_db($database_su_lokoja, $su_lokoja);
$query_rsNewtaker = sprintf("SELECT * FROM newtakers WHERE NT_ID = %s", GetSQLValueString($colname_rsNewtaker, "int"));
$rsNewtaker = mysql_query($query_rsNewtaker, $su_lokoja) or die(mysql_error());
$row_rsNewtaker = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsNewtaker);
$totalRows_rsNewtaker = mysql_num_rows($rsNewtaker);
