QR codes and individual data entry ...

QR codes and individual data entry ...

I have a question about setting up an Ecommerse webpage.
My product uses engraved QR codes and I need an area where my customers can register to a database, making this information immediately available once the QR code is scanned. I want to go from data input to viewable webpage.

Instead of using thousands of different, individual QR codes and URLs, I would like one central QR code to have a 3-digit sub-code used to access the individual front pages of information.
So, when the code is scanned, the first page will be the 3-digit login code.
Second page is the information … address, email, phone number etc …
Third page is a password protected area for more sensitive information. (medical records etc.)
This information must be edited and maintain by my customer with a login and password.
Can you do that as part of an ecommerce site?

This cannot be done using Cafe Commerce.

You're needs are fairly specific so a pre built eCommerce web application will not fit the bill, you would need to develop an application for your needs from scratch.

I used this asp.net qr code generator to create qr code for my web. You may take a look and see if it can meet your demands. It can create different qr codes and the created qr code is adjustable. it is easy to encode QR Code images to jpeg, gif, png, tiff, bitmap files in ASP.NET program. To read more info, read this creation tutorial.

Thanks for your sharing. QR Code is a widely-used 2D barcode and this makes its creation easier.
