Adding an ecart object

Hello,

I am trying to add an ecart object to a site and I am not having any luck. I have connected to my database in Dreamweaver, however, when I go to "add" an ecart object, the function (Add or Edit) is not available???????

Any help is appreciated!

Jackie

make sure you have a php page from your Dreamweaver site opened, then go to Insert -> WebAssist -> eCart -> eCart Object to open the eCart object panel, then click the add button.

Hi Jason,

I have followed your instructions and am still not able to connect with my cart. I've created a record set and have connected with the database just fine, this is a link to a screen shot of the cart, database with table open, and ensuring it's a .php page that I'm working on: screenshot.php

Thanks

Erick

is this the creative cloud version of DW CS6? or the standard download?

When you start Dreamweaver, it will show the version number and the build number, what build number does it show?

install the 12.0,3 update available from here:
downloads_updaters.html#dwcs612712

before installing the update, you will need to uninstall the extensions from the extension manager, then reinstall them after the update completes.

I have the sameissue

I now have the same issue, my DW version is 12.0 build 5842.

Ecart has been working fine, I have made no changes to anything ... it just wont add a new object now.

Also wont edit other objects from previous projects
