Sales Tax & PayPal

Hi Jason

I would like to have Paypal Standard handle applying sales tax to specific shipments and forego having sales tax handled within ecart.

I have Sales tax set up in Paypal to charge ONLY California SHIPMENTS a 8.5% sales tax.

I have attached my cart program for your review.

You can see that I have sales tax handled (crudely) within ecart, and thus would much prefer to eliminate sales tax handling within ecart and have it handled within Paypal checkout.

How can I enable the ecart program to not overide the Paypal tax application and handshake nicely?

remove the tax form element:
<input type="hidden" name="tax_cart" id="tax_cart" value="<?php echo $Nitrodog->GetTax() ?>" />

Well it worked like a champ!

But then I messed it up somehow. My apologies.

The tax line is now showing up again on the ecart.

help?

I have attached a new cart zip file.

Fixed it!

I had to make the sales tax portion of the ecart object inactive. That seems to make everything work fine.
