Editing the Dynamic Flash Charts to £

Hi there

I am using Powerstore over here in the UK - I think I've changed everything over to show £'s now apart from all the reporting sections. Using the Dynamic Flash charts extension how do I edit it to make them show everything in Pound Sterling?

Thanks in advance

You can update the currency symbol for the chart pages by looking at the data file for that chart and that page.

For example, to change the currency symbol from $ to £ in the orders_Chart.php admin page you will need to open the data file for the second chart. This is in DynamicWebCharts > Data > orders_Chart_data2.php.

In here on line 118 you can update the dollar to the pound.

You could also do a site wide find and replace for this:
Revenue: $#val#

replace with:
Revenue: £#val#

This should update all of the chart feferences.

Hi Eric

Thanks for coming back to me - i've done this at first it didn't work but then I changed the following code as well

<yaxis color="#767a7f" gridcolor="#888d93" format="£#val#">

This has got rid of the dollar sign but hasn't replaced it with the Pound sign - what am i missing?

Thanks in advance

Maybe try : £ instead of £

Change Dollar sign to pounds in dynamic flash charts

You need to use the UTF8 encoding for the pound sign in Flash Charts.

Search and replace all instances of: $#val# with: %C2%A3#val#

This worked fine for me in Powerstore
