power cms adds code " "

When I type new text with the powercms editor, most of the time when I check in the 'Code' view these marks are added:

Ik happens on several websites I work on. The effect on the website is that text stays in one line. Is there a solution for this?

Kind regards, Stuward.

does it insert one   between each word, or multiple?

What kind of content are you adding?

Are you copying it in from another source?

Are you using the tab key? That will usually insert 4   entities, but the standard space key should not.

Between each word

> What kind of content are you adding?
just text

> Are you copying it in from another source?
No, typing it clean, from scratch.

> Are you using the tab key? That will usually insert 4   entities, but the standard space key should not.
No

it occurs on various browsers both on PC and MAC.

Kind regards, Stuward

Thanks Jason, solved. It occured when cutting and pasting text directly in the editor only. A work around is pasting it 'as plain text' from the editor menu.
