PayPal error 10501

Hi Jason,

I just wanted to confirm an error. We have PayPal Direct Payment setup and tested successfully with a live transaction a couple of weeks ago.

Now I am getting the error (using the Full response code):

This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration. 10501 Error 60.050603051.00

That is an issue with the actual PayPal account correct?

Yes, the invalid merchant configuration means that there is a problem with your paypal account setup that is preventing the transaction from being processed.
