expand shopping cart

Hello

I would like to make the shopping cart "table" much wider on the screen. This will allow the "name" field to expand and be easier to read.

I have included the cart.php file as a zip for your review.

How do I go about expanding the width?

thank you

In Dreamweaver, you an select the table in the tag selector, then edit it's properties in the property panel to change the width of the table, you will also want to select each of the cels to change the widths for the cells as well as the table.

Hi Jason

I am use to manipulating table widths, etc., but this page isn't working out so well for me.

There are many forms within your shopping cart page and nothing is really responding to width changes. I changed all tables to be 100% and put in new values for the cells. When I upload the page, it still looks pretty much the same with a slight shift is cell size.

Would you take a look at the attachment and perhaps provide me your opinion?

Ideally, I would like the whole form to be 80-100% if the page, centered, and have the "name" field at least tripled in size.

thanks.

Here is the link to the cart:

cart.php

You can see that the name area and the engraving area could benefit from enlargement.
Also, to have the "table" cover be wider (it now looks like about 50%) and centered would help tremendously.

thanks...

expand the width of the div that contains the cart table.

in the WA_eCart/CSS/eC_Crisp_Slate_Arial.css file edit the width of the .eC_Crisp_Slate_Arial selector

works great!

Playing with column widths of the individual fields....they're a little fussy as I'm simply moving the "sides" in and out-probably doing it wrong?

thanks for your help.
