metakeyword search

Hello~

I'm having a problem with the search function on my ecart. When I only have one word in the metakeyword field in my database, the search works fine. If I add more terms, the search doesn't return any results.

Here's a link to my search page:
products_search.php

Currently, the only search term is 'everpure.'

Thanks in advance for your help!

I set this up with ecart and databridge. I then uploaded the product information to the mysql database. Initially, we only added one term in the search field; our product manager is currently developing the search terms.

Here's the link to the search page:
products_search.php

Here's the link to the results page:
products_results.php?ProductMetaKeywords=everpure

If I add more terms to the ProductMetaKeywords field in the database, the search doesn't return any results. I separated the search terms in the database field with commas. Could that be the problem?

1) in the database, don't separate the key words with a comma.

2) in Data Assist search, make sure the criteria is set to use the Keyword criteria type, set the comparison to Includes. Set the Or separator use a comma followed by a space:
", " (without the quotes)

3) in the search, separate each keyword with a comma:
keyword1, keyword2...

Terrific! Thanks! I'll try that and will let you know if I have any more problems.

Hello Again~

How do I check Data Assist's search criteria? I tried going through the Data Assist Search Wizard but don't see a way to modify the criteria or comparisons.

open the results page, go to the server behaviors panel and double click the Data Assist search server behavior to edit it.

hmmm.... now regardless of what is entered in the keyword field, all the products show as the result.

The keyword field can be empty and it still returns a result with all the products in the store.

If you type 'sediment' into the keyword field, you should only see two products.
