Errors on button insert

Short story: when using the Insert CSS Button tool, it fails.

Remedies I've taken:
1) uninstall/reinstall DB
2) delet cache.dat file
3) load 'missing' content into Objects/Forms/ directory.

Here are my error messages:
1) The following javascript error(s) occurred: [nothing is listed]
2) Error editing for button string: Error: getDocumentDOM: Argument number 1 is invalid.

DW 12.1 Cloud, OS X 8.2

here is an updated copy of the configuration/shared/webassist/buttonstyler/ButtonStylerShared.js file that should correct the problem.

for help locating the users configuration, see the common installation issues page:

Hi Jason,

Long time, no hassle.

In my webassist/ directory, I have ButtonPresets and not ButtonStyler. Should I create the folder or does it go in the Presets folder?

Thanks,
Mark

What extensions do you have installed?

you should have both the ButtonPrests folder and the ButtonStyler folder

Site Assist Pro, CSS Menu Writer, Palette Picker, Surveyor, Data Bridge, eCart, Social Media Toolkit and PayPal eCommerce Toolkit.

My mistake, I was looking in the CS 5.5 directory initially. Also, the recommended legacy files were uninstalled prior to the installation of DataBridge.

However, I just looked in the CS 6 directory and all of the files are present - including the ButtonStylerShared.js. Here is my current structure:

ButtonPresets
ButtonStyler
controls
Cookies
CSSMenuWriter
DataAssist
DataBridge
DigitalFilePro
DocumentEncoding.js
DynamicConnection
DynamicDropdowns
DynamicWebCharts
eCart
FormBuilder
FormValidations
Framework
ImageCache
Images
Kuler
LayoutManager
Library
ManageColors
ManageTheme
Memento
PayPalToolkit
Preferences
RichTextEditor
scripts
SecurityAssist
Services
SiteAssistPro
Surveyor
UniversalEmail
ValidationTooltips
WAFormToolkit
WASocial
XMLEditor

ok, does adding the attached file in the ButtonStyler folder for CS6 correct the error?
